I think i speak for all sneaker heads when I say 2010 is gonna be ah great and needed year for us, with the chicago bulls retro#10 dropping in January and the Infrared retro#6 making its way in stores in February also the spizike done in the bread color-way(Black,cement,varsity red, white) iam really not ah fan of these kicks but they are most def going down on my copp list, these will be dropping in February as well. I must say its about time we had a year like this, 09 has been horrible put aside the spacejams coming out in Nov, with all of these fusions and team jordans i cant even look at the jordan#7 anymore because of those damn true flights JB should of made kicks like those international release other than the True Blue#3. Not to take away from the CDP’s and the DMP’s but these retro colorway releases are the best move for JB and they should keep this rotation going, what do you guys think…
Looking for an amazing affordable restaurant? Well Sea is the place to go there are two locations one in Willamsburg BK and the other in East Village. This restaurant has the best Thai food around. Very cheap for two people the bill will come out around $20 which is not bad at all. Want drinks they have them too. The location in Brooklyn is huge. There is a pond in the middle of the restaurant. It’s very futuristic looking with hanging round chairs and swings. Very dark inside but it gives it a good vibe. On the weekends it’s packed and the wait is ridiculous but totally worth it. There is usually a DJ. Reservations are only made for a party 10 or larger but make sure that you all arrive because they won’t seat until everyone is there. Dress kind of nice since most people do. Make sure to check out the bathrooms. I know that sounds weird but they are so cool. They even have tvs inside them.
The location in the East Village is complete different. It is very small and doesn’t having anything amazing to look forward to except the food. The good thing about this location is that you will be seated and served right away unlike the one in BK. This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in NYC if not my favorite.

Internationally known artist is now in NYC Gagosian gallery. The things you will see will leave you amazed. Just to see how someone so crazy is so creative. I say she’s crazy because she literally is, she lives in a mental institution in Japan. But her work will leave you in shock and wondering how just dots can create such an image. Well what will leave you most impressed is her latest work the Aftermath of Obliteration of Eternity. It was probably the best artistic experience I have ever had. You walk into a room where you stand on a platform surrounded by water and lights just start flashing out of no where. You just have to go experience it.
Last night I attended the X-Men Origins: Wolverine special screening at the Ziegfeld Theater along with the other group of privileged attendees who were just as excited as I was to see the film. If you were one of those people who bought the bootleg that leaked and watched it without the special effects, do yourself a favor and go watch it in the theater, You will not be disappointed. The film was very well written, the cast is amazing and the fight scenes are incredible. Also, be sure to stay seated after the credits, for there is a small scene following them. Enjoy.
Producer/rapper Pharrell Williams is apparently through with getting ink. In fact, he doesn’t want tattoos at all, and is in the process of getting them all lasered off.
As you can see in the photo, Pharrell has both of his arms bandaged up, as they heal.
“Laser treatment b**ches! Extra crispy,” the rapper wrote on his blog of the procedure. “See, no skin graft here, just pure laser pain.
Pharrell previously talked about going through the surgery, in which he explained that he was going to attempt to cultivate new skin cells and graft the new tissue over his tattoos.
“It’s going to be pricey, but f*** it, it’s worth it. I got fire on my arms! I’m a grown man,” he said in early 2008. “There’s an institute called the Wake Forest Institute in North Carolina for Regenerative Skin Treatment. It’s basically like getting a skin graft, but you’re not taking skin from your ass or your legs. These guys actually grow the skin for you.”
Personally I believe if you put anything on your body it should be for life. No regrets! You only have one life to live! Who knows how long we will be here…

Want cheap beer? Of course you do, everyone does. Well if you happen to be bored one night take a trip to Williamsburg. On berry and 3rd you will find a bar that serves you most beer for $3 even Brooklyn lager that tends to be the most expensive beer in BK. This bar is deceiving from the outside it looks small but inside its a decent size. There is a wrap around bar and you will be able find any drink you want for a very cheap price and also a great amount of food. On the other side of the bar you will find tables, arcade machines, a pool table, and a dart board. So if you happen to be the DD that night you have something else to entertain you. So hipsters go check out this place I’m sure you will love it.
If you are a true artist then you love Picasso. Here is your chance to see some of his best works and his latest works before his death. Go to the Gagosian Gallery in Chelsea on West 21st btw 10th and 11th Ave. This collection is called Mosqueteros. It’s open till June 6, 2009. This guy was truly a genius. You will be so impressed once you walk it. His technique and flowing contour lines will leave you amazed. Try to go in the morning because the afternoons get really busy and it’s harder for you to see each painting. Make sure to watch the video it will let you know a little more about Picasso. His work is very interesting and I suggest for everyone to go.

This summer’s Lollapalooza line-up can now be viewed on their website, and it’s looking pretty bad-ass!

“We were fascinated to discover today that Walt Disney reused animation cycles across different movies—the characters are unique (sorta) but the motions are cel for cel copies. It looks like the movies that reuse animation are from that infamous era in the 70s and 80s when Disney’s animation unit cut too many corners and churned out less “classic” fare. Well, they were copying classics—shouldn’t that count for something?”
