WALL THAT SPEAKS
Down Pennsylvania Avenue, passed the Capital Building in the District of Columbia, passersby can pause for a moment in front of the NEWSEUM and see a fragment of an incredible exhibit. Those who pay the small admission can bare witness to the largest display of the Berlin Wall outside of Germany proper. Just twenty years after its destruction Americans can stop by the nations capital to get a better understanding of what these small segments mean in context of the history of the world. From an artistic perspective, the sections of the wall were flushed with European graffiti that absolutely usurp anything you will find out in New York, save a few exceptions of course. Instead of simply “tagging up” the graffiti on these walls is geared more toward political theory and thought. An actual reason for what many may consider to be a deviation in art. I commend those who spent time rebelling with a cause and hope to get the opportunity to see more mindful expressions of the conscience, like these, in the near future.

MoMA TOWER DESIGN
The recent plans to add a 75 story Goliath of a building along side the Museum of Modern Art is attracting a lot of criticism from locals as well as already exasperated commuters, but there is no denying that the giant would add a particular aesthetic flare to the NYC skyline that seems almost too amazing to pass up!

THE BOY GENIUS REPORT HAS MANAGED TO SCORE THE FIRST HANDS-ON WITH THE DEVICE. THEY SAY IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST IMPRESSIVE PHONE SINCE THE IPHONE. ONLY TIME CAN TRULY TELL, DUE OUT BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR.

As pretentious and grandiloquent as they may be, they certainly have an interesting marketing department!
DEATH OF THE HIPTOP
T-Mobile recently announced that it has unfortunately, to put it lightly, lost all data that went missing approximately two weeks ago. Other reports are suggesting that T-Mobile has offered to nullify the contracts of those affected by this catastrophe and has also temporarily discontinued the sidekick line while they sort out the issues. OUCH, talk about a bump in the road.
UPDATE: Turns out Microsoft has come along and attempted to address the data loss. From what I understand most sidekick users were able to retrieve their contacts a few days ago and Microsoft is at work trying to recover the rest. Still not a good look, but at least something was done!
DESIGN VS SUPPORT
Replacing those annoying trackballs with the sleeker more efficient trackpad is just one of the many hardware improvements that RIM has recently brought to its lineup of robust products. Unfortunately, it still seems that RIM has a lot of work to do on the software side of things. Despite some recent improvements to its software store application, it still remains to be seen if the Blackberry App World will become as exceptional as the Apple App Store.
